Senior Interclub
The Senior Interclub is a competition between Swan-e-set, Pitt Meadows and Meadow Gardens Golf Clubs consisting of 12 players from each club. Two players from each club play two players from a rival club with the format being “match play” with full handicaps being used. There are 9 total points to be won per foursome. Points are also awarded for KP’s in 3 different handicap flights. The team with the most points wins the “Pewter Cup” and of course bragging rights! FYI- Swan-e-set has never lost!!!
Each participating Club hosts the other two clubs once during the year. This year’s scheduled matches are:
- Pitt Meadows – Thursday June 28th
- Meadow Gardens – Monday July 23rd
- Swan-e-set Bay – Tuesday August 14th
The cost to participate in the Senior Interclub is $40.00 per player per match. This pays for the round of golf, a great dinner and prizes awarded to the winners. A sign-up sheet is located in the Pro-Shop about 2 weeks ahead of the event. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis, so sign up quickly! Typically, fifteen(15) Senior’s need to sign up for the 12 spots since there are always cancellations.
